Grandpa Duck Cabernet Shiraz is a special wine made in honour of our founder David Anderson, affectionately known as Grandpa Duck to his four grandchildren. David’s favourite varieties are Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, so what better excuse than to create a wine in his honour using his two favourite grapes. It’s also a celebration of his now more than 50 years in the wine industry. Made using the most intensely flavoured and structured Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz from the Rathjen Vineyard, the wine spends 26-30 months in new French and American oak hogsheads before being blended and bottled.
