A harmonious blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenere, picked on the same day and co-fermented to marry their flavours and aromas. Coming from our Adairs Lane Vineyard close to the winery, the grapes are fully de-stemmed and fermented in small open fermenters. Gently hand plunged and basket pressed into second use French oak barriques and hogsheads. Medium bodied in nature, this wine is a wonderful accompaniment to many styles of cuisine.

(Cabernet Sauvignon & Carmenere) – A big splash of Carmenere at 33%. Partially co – fermented, then matured in 2nd use Hogsheads and Barriques. Plum purple colour. The aromas are soft with notes of red berries, plums and mixed herbs. The flavour is smooth and supple with mouth-watering acids. It starts at the front of the palate with primary fruit and builds, making you think of fresh cut sage and the smells of a bushwalk. The acid frames the palate beautifully and leaves you wanting more. Your glass will not be big enough. 14.4% alc. 67% Cabernet Sauvignon and 33% Carmenere.
